It happened between Thursday 2 May and Friday 3 May.

Thieves took the tent from the roof of a vehicle parked in St Paul’s Square, causing damage in the process.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police. If you saw anyone removing a roof tent from a vehicle, have any CCTV footage from the area or can share any other information, please email callum.johnstone@northyorkshire.police.uk
